If someone had told me a few years ago that I'd start a wellness brand, I would've laughed and probably ordered a burger while doing it.
I'm a software engineer, and for most of my life health wasn't really my thing. No 5 AM yoga, no green juice. I was much closer to our mascot, Bhalu: a little lazy, always sleepy, always promising to start being healthy "from Monday."
Then the people around me began to change. My husband got more health conscious; friends started walking, trekking, watching what they ate. At first I joined so I wouldn't be left behind. "Trying to fit in" slowly became "trying to improve." Not perfectly. Just little by little. I'm still a work in progress.
The biggest shift came when my daughter was born. One day I'll tell her to eat well and take care of herself. But children learn from what they see, not what we say. I wanted to be someone she could learn from. Not perfect. Just trying.
Around the same time, an old wish kept resurfacing: I've always wanted to build something of my own. For years I imagined a small, cozy café. Life made me an engineer instead. I still love it, but the urge to build never left.
Watching more people reach for healthier habits, I wondered if I could make something simple and approachable for people like us. Not gurus or influencers, just normal people trying to do a little better.
I shared the idea with friends and cousins. Casual conversations turned into recipe experiments, packaging debates, and endless "what if we tried this?" And that's how The Drink Therapy began. Not from a grand plan or a health degree, but from a belief that small habits matter.
Because most of us don't transform overnight. We walk a little more, drink a little better, choose ourselves a little more often, and over time those small choices add up.
This one's personal. I want my daughter to know it's never too late to start, and to prove to myself that ordinary people can build something meaningful simply by starting before they feel ready.
We're not here to promise perfection. We're here to celebrate progress. One better choice. One better habit. One better day at a time.
And if you're on that journey too, we're glad you're here.
